Fonality Launches Trixbox Buyer’s Club
4/23/07 – Culver City-based Fonality, the open source telephony company, has announced the launch of the trixbox Buyer’s Club, a source for discounted voice-over-IP products for resellers and IT professionals. The company says a portion of the proceeds from each sale will be reinvested in the company’s ongoing support of the trixbox community, the world’s largest community of Asterisk developers and resellers.
Fonality says The Buyer’s Club discount also extends to Fonality’s new trixbox Appliance and trixbox technical support packages, exclusively distributed through the trixStore.
The company serves the small-to-medium size business market, and recently announced it has reached the 2,000 customer milestone, with 45,000 phones in 37 countries adopting its open source business phone system, PBXtra, with more than 75 million calls placed.
