BabyList, an online universal gift registry service for expectant parents, has landed $620,000 in Seed funding from an impressive group of investors that includes 500 Startups, Okapi Venture Capital, and Chris Messina. The San Francisco-based startup’s hook is universal registry that works across retailers, and also makes available the ability to register for services (diaper services, etc.). It was founded in 2011 by former Amazon software development engineer and Lenguajero co-founder Natalie Gordon.
