San Francisco-based real-time collaboration and video conferencing service Live Minutes has secured $1.4 million in Seed funding. The round was led by Great Oaks Venture Capital and includes participation by New World Ventures, former Facebook business development head and current Greylock Partners EIR Ali Rosenthal, and OKCupid co-founder Sam Yagan. The startup has developed web conference service that is bundled with a suite of real-time collaboration tools that includes document sharing, to-do list editing, image collaboration and project management. It was founded in 2011 by Kemal El Moujahid, who previously founded CobraFM and Teacheo.com.
