The Tel Aviv-based company’s app, which has just launched in beta on iOS and Android, gives users the chance to find out how others on the platform perceive them based on their photo. But unlike the more traditional ‘like’ feedback format, the app utilizes a series of questions about the individual based on the image that the company says are intended to anonymously reveal people’s perceptions of that person’s age, occupation, and personality traits. Users can connect on the platform with those who have ‘judged’ them, and those who judged an individual inaccurately are presented with the accurate information about that person. The company is marketing the app as an alternative to ‘likes’ to give-and-receive feedback on the web.
It was founded last year by Dr. Orit Mossinson, and this is its first round of outside funding.
