Jobr raises $2M for its mobile job search and recruitment app

San Francisco-based mobile job search and recruitment app Jobr has closed $2 million Seed funding round. Investors include Lerer Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, Eniac Ventures, Lowercase Capital, The Hive, Tekton Ventures, Structure Capital, Tim Draper, Fabrice Grinda and additional individual Angel investors. The app presents a swipe-able list of jobs that may be interesting to job hunters. If they’re interested and the recruiter is also interested in them, the potential applicant can connect with a recruiter via in-app chat.

It was founded earlier this year by Hari Ananth and Alex De Simone, and this is its first round of outside funding.
