ViralGains gets $2.3M for its viral video marketing platform

According to reports and an SEC filing from this week, viral video marketing startup ViralGains has raised $2.3 million in funding as part of larger $3.3 million Seed offering. The Boston-based company, which is a graduate of the 500 Startups and MassChallenge accelerators, is focused on facilitating viral video ad campaigns and content through its Praxis marketing platform for content creators and advertisers alike. It already counts some big brands, like Campbell’s, AT&T, Honda, and WPP Group, as customers. Investors in the funding round include Hub Angels, Pallasite Ventures, LaunchCapital, 500 Startups’ Dave McClure and musician Nas (Nasir Jones).

It was founded in 2012 by CEO Jay Singh, CTO Doron Gan, CRO Kate Willett, and COO Dan Levin, and it raised $100,000 in initial Seed funding last year.
