Founders seeking a beacon of hope in time of uncertainty flock to Horasis Global Meeting

Founders are a rare breed who catalyze uncertainty into solutions the rest of us can use. Wages are rising, the employment market is stronger than it’s been since the 1950s, and the workforces of the largest US corporations are successfully unionizing, all of which means opportunities abound for startups gearing up to solve the biggest problems facing the future of work.

Similarly, the value of cryptocurrencies continues to fluctuate widely as the global markets and US housing market dive into a place we haven’t seen since the financial meltdown of 2008.

But keep in mind: Uber, WeWork, AirBnB, Instagram, CoinBase, and Tinder were all founded either during the Great Recession or shortly thereafter in the recovery years between 2008 and 2012. Times of uncertainty for established companies mean new ground for startups to plant their roots.

Find Your Edge.

With that in mind, founders eager to learn more about the geopolitical landscape are encouraged to sign up for Horasis Global’s annual meeting, which will reconvene again on May 19th under the banner of, “Toward New Era of Peace and Sustainability.”

This year, more than 1000 selected world leaders will sit down and discuss ways companies can navigate the chaos left behind by the COVID-19 pandemic, explore the continued ramifications of Russia’s war on Ukraine on commodity prices, discuss climate change and all of its shades of disruption, analyze current trends in inflation, and pick apart the ongoing supply chain crisis.

Sessions will include talks on how Western Europe will discontinue its energy dependence on Gazprom and what ongoing sanctions might mean to the European startup community. Led by a panel of adventurous, innovative, and entrepreneurial speakers and keynotes, Horasis Global Conference will draw insight from a long list of influential thought-leaders in global business, politics, and government.

Some of which include Carmelo Abela, Minister within the Office of the Prime Minister, Malta; Rania A. Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, Egypt; Vera Esperança dos Santos Daves de Sousa, Minister of Finance, Angola; David de Rothschild, Founder, Voice for Nature, United Kingdom; and others.

Founders can expect these discussions to be angled towards ways new companies can build solutions that usher in a cooler, greener, world for our children and grandchildren. Sustainability is key, and peace is a must to achieve it. Horasis is devoted to facilitating both causes.

The Horasis Global Community believes that by embracing new technologies geared to spur social change, leaders today can begin to solve global climatic issues, redefine the future of work through compassionate leadership, and address geopolitical conflict swiftly in order to pull things back under control.
