Propeller, platform that enables non-developers to build and update mobile apps with a drag-and-drop interface, has raised $1.25 million in Seed funding. Its high-profile investors include Andreessen Horowitz, FF Angel, Menlo Ventures, Foundation Capital, Max Levchin and Ashton Kutcher. Propeller, which is based in San Francisco, was created by Brian Rowen, and Clay Allsopp—a Thiel Fellow from North Carolina who left Berkeley to build his startup. The company was founded last year.
