Silicon Valley’s Draper University, together with global startups and investors platform InnMind, is organizing the first Silicon Valley Startup Bootcamp which will take place from the 17-21 October in Catalonia, Spain.
The intense, five-day acceleration program — which is supported by the Catalonian government and the i2cat innovation foundation — will give 100 tech startups from around the world a chance to connect in-person and online for networking and mentoring sessions, workshops and demo days.
Although the in-person event will take place offline, startups can also access online pre-event acceleration support. This includes participating in unique virtual Shark-Tank pitching sessions to VC investors, connecting with corporate partners, startup founders and ecosystem players, and access to online mentoring sessions and workshops.
InnMind has designed the Shark-Tank e-pitching sessions to VC investors specifically to address a notable need in the global startup community for this type of training ahead of investment pitches.
One of this year’s keynote speakers, Gina Kloes, is a performance educator and inspiration officer for entrepreneurs at Draper University, California. Kloes has taught entrepreneurs all over the world: from Silicon Valley, to Africa, Europe and even in the British Virgin Islands.
Kloes will be speaking at the Startup Bootcamp 2020 alongside other mentors, VC investors and speakers from Europe and Hong Kong.
Notable mentors and speakers at Startup Bootcamp 2020 in Catalonia include:
InnMind is offering special conditions for female-led startups and diverse teams to participate in the bootcamp and pre-event activities until 31 August, 2020.
