TheVentureCity’s free Product-Led Growth Week wants to help your startup grow as quickly as Slack, Zoom and Facebook

TheVentureCity, an early stage venture fund and accelerator founded in 2017, will hold a free, five-day program to give startups an instant boost through product-led growth strategies.

As early-stage companies around the world tighten their belts in response to COVID-19-related lockdowns and recessions, product-led growth has emerged as a potential solution to save on expensive marketing budgets, while also driving growth by allowing customers to organically promote the business and its products. A recent Forbes article even went so far as to call 2020 the year of product-led growth (PLG).

Against this backdrop, from October 5-9, TheVentureCity’s free and virtual Product-Led Growth Week will cover topics that include product design, fundraising, marketing, and customer retention for up-and-coming startups. Sessions will be conducted over Zoom by experts from TheVentureCity team, who have previously held high-level positions at major Silicon Valley companies like Facebook, Google, and WhatsApp.

Chief Growth Officer Katya Skorobogatova will lead multiple sessions, sharing her knowledge from 15 years of experience in the world of startup growth, which notably includes her role in growing Facebook’s market reach into Russia.

To qualify for the five-day program, interested startups must be software-enabled companies that are less than two years old and have at least two full-time team members.

The growth week requires just a three-hour time commitment each day, as the program will be divided into 90-minute sessions in the morning and afternoon.

At the end of the program, two qualified startups will be invited to TheVentureCity’s Growth Accelerator Program – the company’s standard growth program that lasts five months – where they will be given an opportunity to receive $100,000 in investment.

Each year for its Growth Accelerator Program, the company selects just 40 startups that are deemed high-potential and gives them crash courses on startup growth, product engineering and data analysis.

During this period, TheVentureCity gives insights into the best strategies for fundraising and how startups can scale internationally, among other tips. The company also provides a wealth of connections to available tech talent and media interested in discovering the next big product.

Past graduates of TheVentureCity’s five-month accelerator program include successful global brands like CityCop and Explorest.

Through its growth programs and venture fund, TheVentureCity has specialized in providing series A funding to global startups. In just three years, it has already invested tens of millions of dollars in startups in North America, Southern Europe and Latin America. The company has offices in Miami, Madrid, Silicon Valley and São Paulo.

TheVentureCity’s Product-Led Growth Week will take place from October 5-9 and will be held virtually over Zoom. TheVentureCity recommends that at least two members from a startup team participate in the sessions to maximize a company’s experience.

Those interested in registering must do so before September 30 and can find more details here for the mini-accelerator program that is cash and equity free.
